Hey,
Motivational Thursdays are BACK, rah - November just slapped everyone in the face this week..the year went SO FAST..DID YOU KNOW NOVEMBER IS THE BIRTHDAY MONTH FOR INSIDE A DREAM?? BIG EXCLUSIVE BIRTHDAY GIVE AWAY COMING SOON. I'm hoping you're having a good week. I hope you're feeling fresh and joyful. If not, don't think of it as a bad thing there's 3 other days to go and after every dark night there's a brighter day..your bright day is on it's way.
This post is going to be a bit more personal, something we can all relate to..something that I think should be talked about. I have reached a certain stage in my life where I really am aiming for nothing but success but in order for me to get there, I need to acknowledge my mistakes, no I haven't always shown good characteristics to others and no I haven't been the best of people to personally know..it does get a bit annoying that because I motivate others, people don't understand sometimes I can be upset, sometimes I can feel demotivated and sometimes I can get pissed off, If i have ever offended anyone or hurt someone I am genuinely sorry, sometimes my actions aren't always correct but what can you do.. I am learning, I am trying, I am changing,I am human.
I feel a lot of people forget the beauty of mistakes, I love how people will always remember you for the bad rather than the good but why? We are all human, we all make mistakes and I think it is so important to remember that - people get into this mentality of judgement and forget they once messed up too ..' I swear she done that' 'I swear he done this' no one is perfect, people mess up and who are you to always bring it up and constantly hold a grudge on it? Being able to not let go is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.
As Humans we sin, as humans we say mean things, do bad stuff.. I feel sometimes we are scared to admit we are humans, scared to come to an acknowledgment we can actually mess up. you know when you're in a argument and you're in the wrong but still you will fight your case to be right.. why is it that we are so scared of making the mistakes? why is it that it's so scary to accept we are human and we can mess up. Most times I feel everything is a competition to prove who is better than who and for you to be the winner, the opposition has to have more mistakes than you.
I have seen people transform in to beautiful beings regardless of their ugly mistakes and the reason why I admire them more is because their faults were SO ugly.
I think it's important to acknowledge you can actually MESS UP.
YOU CAN MESS UP, it's okay.
YOU CAN FEEL LIKE CRAP,it's okay.
YOU CAN SOMETIMES CRY, it's okay.
YOU CAN MAKE MISTAKES,it's okay.
YOU ARE HUMAN,WE ARE ALL HUMANS, it's okay.
The importance of acknowledging you are born with faults is the guaranteed truth to happiness, acknowledging you're human is important because no one will have to remind you that you are. I love how when Mariah Carey done that awful performance last year christmas time and everyone was so quick to point out THAT mistake but has everyone forgotten she has the record to hitting the highest pitch note in a performance? that one performance - that's all it took.. It was as if we all forgot that she was human? that sometimes she does mess up? in fact that sometimes she CAN mess up.
same way how people react so crazy when celebrities die, they're human.
It took me a long time to remind myself I was human.. Motivating others is what I live to do, but many times I was forgetting that it's okay for me to mess up, it's okay for me to cry and it's okay for me to feel upset. I now know it's okay for me to be the one who needs motivation. when the helper is helping everyone out, who is helping the helper?
when you can't accept your mistakes and faults, who will accept yours?
Have an amazing evening, week and remember that you're human.
