Motivational Thursdays are here WOT WOT. wait, have you just noticed that its march? HUH WHERE IS THE YEAR GOING PLEASE? THURSDAY, THE DAY I BRING YOU SOME MOTIVATION AND INSPIRATION. I'm hoping you're having a good week. I hope you've started this week feeling fresh and joyful. If not, don't think of it as a bad thing.. after every dark night there's a brighter day..your bright day is on it's way
The definition of being different and being unique is similar BUT not the same. I feel everyone tries to be different but you actually all end up being the same - what makes you unique is within, what makes you different is on the outside.
One thing I will never understand is why people copy? if you copy someone you will end up getting the same results as the person you copied, through copying you are already determining your destination.
The MOST important thing about life is making sure you are following your OWN journey and no one elses, you can always use another persons journey for inspiration but what's the point of living your own life if you're just following someone elses?
If you don't build YOUR OWN DREAMS, someone else will hire you do theirs... when you're not impacting YOUR own life, you are impacting someone elses.
Good people copy BUT the BEST people improve what's already out there.
Richard Branson started Virgin Airways because he experienced a poor airline service, he didn't copy the idea of making an airline, there's already so many airlines out there, Richard just simply improved the services to make him and his company to be unique.
I'm not telling you to start up your own airline but whatever you want to do,whether it's to be a headteacher, a footballer, a entrepreneur, doctor or hairdresser, you need to ask yourself what is it that you have that's not already out there?
You are SO unique, don't focus on anyone elses journey but yours, if you look at what others are doing, you end up doing it yourself.
Haven't you noticed when you're typing or writing about something and someone is talking to you, you sometimes type their name or what they said instead of the thing you want to do.
The sad thing is you will probably be judged on the fact you are UNIQUE and you want to take your own journey, simply because you've stepped out of line..but what people say doesn't determine where you will end up but where they will.
You need to embrace who you are because if you don't...no one else will, if you can't see your own journey, DON'T expect others to believe in yours.
